FAQs

Q. Will I be able to study / work in bled?

A. Absolutely! We’re all students and everyone will understand if you’ve got assignments due, meetings to take, etc! Most rowers only row 2x sessions per day, leaving plenty of time for study and work.

Q. Can I arrive late / leave early?

A. Yes! We of course encourage rowers to attend the entire camp where possible, but we understand the Easter holiday and start of term pose scheduling constraints. Because we are charged daily rates by the Bled boat club and by our accommodation, we may be able to provide a partial discount if you arrive late / leave early.

Q. Is the camp mandatory?

A. No! We understand not all rowers will be able to attend for scheduling/financial reasons and will not make boat selections for bumps or other races conditional upon attendance to this camp. But we will miss you! The camp is a ton of fun!

Q. What is the accommodation like?

A. Our accommodation is a beautiful mountain chalet overlooking Lake Bled, managed by two Clare Hall alumni, David and Suzana. There are 30 beds across 9 rooms, two kitchens, two living rooms, and several bathrooms.
